The Long Weekend is Here!

Woah, this time of year is crazy!  BB's and DD's birthdays are during this time of year and we're headed towards the end of the school year...but SO MUCH more happens during these few weeks that I wanted to document it lest I forget come next year.

From my last post you know we celebrated DD's 10th birthday this past weekend.  We also had his Spring Concert to attend last week. BB got his braces put on this week and then had his Spring Concert the day after.  Next week is BB's birthday and the boys have their birthday parties next weekend too.  The day after is their first violin recital.  The week after the boys have their belt tests and tryouts for their summer team. That following week is a big field trip for DD.  And meanwhile, none of their normal activities have ended for the season but summer logistics planning has started.

We're staying put this Memorial Day weekend.  There is so much to prepare for and attend.  As you can see from the photos, we've been hitting the bakeries pretty hard, basically every weekend for breads, pastries, and cakes.  Even between all of the hustle and bustle, I gotta have my carbs!
